Three new members of staff have recently joined the Frith Resource Management (FRM) team: Bob Couth, Fiona Gutteridge and Kate Thompson. These appointments represent an exciting opportunity in a period of growth for FRM, celebrating 10 years of service.

Bob is a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience (30 plus years) in environmental consultancy, notably in the procurement of environmental and waste and services contracts. He also has a vast amount of experience working internationally, with involvement in projects in Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Latvia, Macedonia, Malaysia, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan and Uganda. These projects have included waste collection, recycling, recovery and disposal together with landfill gas UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects for the World Bank.

Fiona has been appointed as a Principal Consultant for FRM. She has over 20 years’ experience in the waste industry and is supporting the company with proposal writing, modelling, procurement and waste strategy-based projects. She understands the operational detail required to model waste systems efficiently, having used and developed various bespoke models – as well as the WRAP Kerbside Analysis Tool (KAT) – to model systems and benchmark performance.

Finally, Kate has been appointed to support the team with administrative and account tasks. She has a vast amount of administrative experience as she has worked within the banking industry for a number of years.

Commenting on the new appointments, Paul Frith, Managing Director of FRM, said: “We welcome the three outstanding professionals to our growing team – they bring a wealth of valuable experience from the waste sector and will enable us to expand our procurement and strategy related works to continue to support local authorities and the private sector during this time of intense activity.”
